Resume: |
He graduated from Changchun College of Geology in 1996 and was awarded his first Ph.D. degree and Procter & Gamble Fund Grant for the Excellent Doctoral Students in Chinese Academy of Sciences in Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry in 2002. In the period from October 2002 to December 2005, he worked in the institute of inorganic chemistry, Rheinisch-Westf lische Technische Hochschule Aachen (RWTH Aachen), as a postdoctoral researcher. He found a novel flux route to synthesize rare earth cyanamide/carbodiimides with rare earth halides as the precursors and got a number of new compounds. Due to his excellent work, he was awarded his second doctoral degree by RWTH Aachen. In December 2005, he got a professorial position in Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry and came back as a doctorial supervisor. He is interested in the extraction chemistry, the novel processes of metal extraction and coordination chemistry. |
Direction: |
(1) Separation and purification of rare earths or other metals and the separation processes(2) Kinetic study on the solvent extraction and interfacial phenomenon(3) Integrative study on the solvent extraction and the nanomaterial preparation and the characterization of the chelating complexes |
