On August 18, 2011, a delegation of 42 scientists from Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ISCAS), led by Prof. LI Yucheng, visited Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (CIAC). YAN Xiaohong, head of S&T department of the CAS, Changchun, AN Lijia, director of the CIAC and ZHOU Guangyuan, vice director of the CIAC attended the welcome meeting.

On the meeting, Mr. AN Lijia welcomed the delegation on behalf of the CIAC. He remarked that the two institutes had valuable experiences in domestic cooperations and management, and it was hoped that the two sides could make full use of the chance to learn from each other. ZHOU Guangyuan gave an introduction of the CIAC, and took heat shrinkable materials and PLA materials as examples to illustrate the problems that should be focused on in the future development of an institute.

The delegation expressed their appreciation for  the CIAC’s hospitality, and introduced their experiences in management of intellectual property, administration innovation, performance examine, and personnel training.

During their visit, ISCAS delegation was invited to tour the museum of the CIAC.
