During 9^th to 11^th of 2011, the first Chemistry Academic Forum of Graduate University of Chinese Academy (GUCAS) of Sciences was held at Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (CIAC). The forum was sponsored by the GUCAS, and hosted by the CIAC. Over 100 graduate students from 20 institutes and colleges attended the forum.

The forum consisted of 6 invited lectures, 53 oral lectures, and more than 100 papers and poster presentations. The evaluation committee, at the end of the forum, voted 20 excellent poster presentations, 20 excellent papers, and 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes of excellent oral presentations.
