Hosted by the Polymer Division, Chinese Chemical Society, organized by Changchun Institute of Applied Chemsitry, CAS, the 13th China Applied Chemistry Annual Symposium took place in Changchun during August 23 to August 26, 2013.
The symposium focuses on harmonious development of applied chemistry and society, and is aimed at promoting the academic exchanges of applied chemistry. Prof. FENG Shouhua, Prof. JIANG Lei, Prof. ZHANG Lina, and Prof. ZHANG Hongjie delivered a report on the symposium. On the four branches of the symposium, namely, Applied chemistry and enviorment-friendly materials, Applied Chemistry and Clean Energy Storage and Exchange Materials, Applied Chemistry and Safety, and Applied Chemistry and New materials for Chemical industry, over 90 scientists delivered invited reports, over 60 made oral reports, and 11 graduate students gave exchange reports.
