The Symposium on Macromolecular System Theory and Simulation& Calculation was held in Changchun during June 17 to 20, 2014. The symposium was hosted by Chinese Chemical Society and organized by Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (CIAC), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).

Prof. AN Lijia from CIAC, Prof. HU Wenbing from Nanjing University and QIU FENG, professor of Fudan University chaired the symposium.

6 plenary lectures, 28 invited reports, 32 oral speeches were delivered with 47 posters presented the recent updates in the research fields of polymer chemistry, physical chemistry, soft condensed matter physics, advanced materials and biological physics. The three-day symposium attracted more than 150 professionals from 40 research institutions and colleges at home and abroad.
