The recent released “2013 China Rare Earth Top Ten S &T News” revealed that CIAC’s study on rare earth luminescent materials was on this list.  

In the area of advanced research and application of rare earth materials, CIAC has developed a series of new preparation technologies and new materials. By compensating the luminous volatility of LED chips resulted from AC driven systems with rare earth luminescent materials having a certain light decay time, the resulting light output of such LED sources can keep stable during an AC cycle. The technology enables China to be the only country in the world to master the production of low strobe AC-LED products using rare earth luminescent materials.
