On April 7, 2011, Prof. Hiroshi Imahori, from Kyoto University, Japan, gives a lecture at CIAC. The report is entitled “Carbon Nanostructures and Aromatic pi Systems for Artificial Photosynthesis and Solar Energy Conversion”.
Hiroshi Imahori graduated from Kyoto University in 1985, majoring in Organic Chemistry, and in 1990, he Obtained Ph. D. from the same school. Between 1990 and 1992, he conducted post-doctoral research at The Salk Institute for Biological Studies, San Diego, USA. Since his return from America in 1992, he stayed in Osaka University. Now he is full professor at Kyoto University, mainly works on the development of artificial photosynthetic systems including organic solar cells and photofunctional materials.
Prof. Imahori gave more than 40 presentations as a guest speaker in International Symposia, and at International or American Conferences, and he published more than 200 papers in SCI journals and magazines.
