On April 13, Dr. Zhongchang WANG, from Tohoku University, Japan, gives a lecture entitled “Atom-by-atom Analysis of Functional Ceramics Interfaces” at CIAC.
The contents of the lecture include the STEM Technique & DFT calculations, catalyst (Au Nanoparticle on TiO2), TiO2 surface, introducing ohmic contacts into SiC technology, insulator-to-metal transition driven by an insulating layer in Ruddlesden-Popper phase, and atom-resolved imaging of ordered defect superstructure atgrain boundaries.
Zhongchang WANG obtained his Ph.D. from Tohoku University, Japan. He is associate professor of Tohoku University, and is interested in preparation and characterization of functional ceramics interfaces, First-principles and molecular dynamics. He has published more than 30 papers in Nature, Nano Letters, Advanced Materials, Physical Review, and Applied Physics Letters.
