CHANG Qing, head of Bureau of International Cooperation (NSFC) visited the CIAC, together with Korean guests, from National Research Foundation of Korea and Korea-China Science & Technology Cooperation Center on February 22.

CHANG said on the welcome meeting, “The purpose of the visit is to investigate the research cooperation between China and Korea, especially in the field of basic research. We’ll review the history, plan the future, and strengthen the cooperation.”

AN Lijia, Director of the CIAC welcomed the delegation on behalf of the CIAC, and hoped that the scientists from the two countries could have more interact in the future.

The Korean delegates had a discussion with the scientists who undertook China-Korea cooperation and exchange program, and they greatly encouraged the CIAC scientists to apply the joint projects supported by the NSFC and NRC in the future.
