Irshad Hussain, Head of Department of Chemistry of Lahore University of Management Sciences, paid a visit to the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences and delivered a lecture entitled “Metal Nanoparticles as Building Blocks for Nanostructured Materials” on March 27, 2012.

Prof. Hussain in his lecture reported the basic concepts of nanotechnology, nanoparticles synthesis by a chemical reduction approach, and nanoparticles applications in biotechnology, materials sciences, forensic science and textile industry.
